THE SCHOOL DAY
All Primary pupils start school at 8.50am and finish at 3.05pm. For the first six weeks of the new session, Primary 1 attend school for the morning only and go home at 12.50pm after they have had lunch. This allows them an opportunity to settle in to the school routine and become more independent.

Morning Interval
Milk is available for all pupils and is brought to the classroom. The teacher supervises the children while they drink it and have their snack before they go out to play.
There is a Healthy Tuck Shop in the school where snacks and fruit juice are on sale daily. Pupils are accompanied there if they want to buy their snack.
School Lunches
Pupils all have a self-service lunch. The infant classes have a limited choice served directly onto special trays.
Lunch Money
Lunches cost £1.80 per day and there is a nominal charge of 50p per week for milk regardless of how many days the child is at school. Payment for lunch is made in arrears on Fridays.
